Dr. Pascale Stemmle

Dr. Stemmle is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in individual therapy for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD and related disorders, depression, and adjustment to life stressors. Dr. Stemmle also has expertise in working with parents whose children are coping with anxiety, mood, and behavioral issues. Dr. Stemmle utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach with family systems, behavioral parent training, and mindfulness techniques to help clients reach their full potential. Dr. Stemmle is also trained to provide SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions). Dr. Stemmle has a dozen years of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist helping children, adolescents, young adults, and parents with a range of presenting problems. In addition, Dr. Stemmle enjoys providing professional supervision and consultation services to other psychologists. Between 2015 and 2022 she held the position of Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Stanford University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. During her time in this role, she particularly enjoyed working with psychology predoctoral interns at the Stanford/CHC internship program and supporting their professional growth. Prior to starting her independent private practice in 2015, Dr. Stemmle provided clinical care at the Pacific Anxiety Group in Menlo Park, CA. She earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the PGSP-Stanford University Consortium in 2012. She completed her predoctoral internship and her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, one of the top training institutions in the country for clinical psychologists.
